Artworking
Artworking involves laying out client-supplied assets and supplying a print-ready or digital-ready file. This is typically charged at flat £70/layout. Another example could be resizing of artwork, eg resizing an A1 poster to an A4 poster. Any fold in a page creates a new layout at the standard rate. NB - open design files are NOT supplied. If you wish these to be included, this must be with prior arrangement and will typically double the charge.

Who is it for?
This option is the most popular with people with on-off requirements or requiring a quick turnaround. It is also popular with people managing touring shows who wish to easily split budgets across different venues or seasons.
Day Rate
The 2025 Day rate is £420. By arrangement, this can be split into minimum of a half day and a day’s work cannot be spread over more than two consecutive half days.
Examples
More creative/conceptual work, eg where a title treatment or a campaign creative is required and you want to explore multiple options.
Co-collaboration work, for example design via screen share
Training
In-person meetings
Online meetings of 1 hour or more
Proposals/tenders
Who is it for?
This option is often chosen by people who want and are able to give fast, iterative feedback on designs. It is also great for people who’d like an extra team member to increase capacity for a particular project or to cover holidays and recruitment gaps. It is also suitable for more labour intensive work such as motion graphics, illustration, motion design, 3D etc. where the quality of the output is directly related to the time spent. If you’d like multiple ‘versions’ of a design until you decide on something you like, then this may also be the best option for you.
Project fee
By arrangement, we can discuss a project fee based on the length of the project and the expected number of deliverables. Typically, we’d agree a payment split of 50% on appointment and then for multi-delivery projects, 25% at an agreed milestone and 25% on completion. For single-delivery projects eg video production, this would be the remaining 50% on sign-off with delivery of assets on receipt of payment.
Examples
Branding projects
Longer form video content
Creative marketing campaigns
Who is it for?
Larger organisations, people with an idea of required deliverables but cannot specify an itemised list, projects with a fixed budget - eg due to funding constraints.
